  • Gaijin Project (Summer Soul Simmer) mixed by Destijl

    This was a mix originally done for my old Mixcrate page that was made for chilling around the house during the summertime. The name comes from when I was hanging out in Tokyo and wanting to visit again during the summer months once again as a gaijin. This mix was originally made in 2010 and had a lot of Mixcrate followers loving the vibe.

  • Foreign Brother mixed by Destijl

    This was a mix originally done for my old Mixcrate page that combined the two groups, “Foreign Exchange” and “Little Brother”. Both groups helmed by one of my favorite MC’s Phonte (Phontigallo) and featuring Nicolay producing the Foreign Exchange side while my top 5 producer 9th Wonder on the Little Brother side. Mixed back in 2010 for my personal listening pleasure, but a lot of Mixcrate followers favorited this one.

    Originally mixed in 2009 to promote my DJ residency at a local sushi restaurant, Summer Laxin' was another mix focused on a laid back lazy summer. The mix was a Mixcrate favorite and showed the type of vibe I laid down at my sushi spot gig.
